Classes start February 17th, 2025!

The Nine-Patch quilt block was one of the first mentioned by Laura Ingalls Wilder in her writings.  It has been used for the past century to teach the next generation the skill of patchwork quilting. This pattern is designed to teach a traditional quilt block using modern tools and techniques.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, this 6-week online course is designed just for you.

This class is for you IF:

• You have ever wanted to learn to make a quilt but have no prior experience.
• You have made a quilt and feel like you needed extra guidance.
• You are a quilter already, but would love to make the same quilt Melissa is making!

What’s Included?

• 5-6 Pre-recorded Lessons: Each week, you’ll receive a 10-15 minute video lesson walking you through the steps of creating your very own 9 Patch Quilt. Learn at your own pace with easy-to-follow instructions!

• Weekly Zoom Check-Ins: Have questions? Need a little extra guidance? Every week, join us for live Zoom sessions where you can ask questions, get feedback, and connect with fellow quilters.

• Exclusive Discussion Group: Share your progress, post photos, and celebrate your achievements with our private discussion group. It’s the perfect place to get inspired and support one another!

• Pressing methods 
• Modern techniques applied to a traditional quilt pattern

• (1) Roll of pre-cut fabric strips 2-1/2” wide, OR (35) 2-1/2” wide strips using various print fabrics of your choice. (2-3/4 yds total)
• 6-1/4 yards of neutral background fabric
• Neutral sewing thread
